Experience of Chinese Landscape Painting, by Tang Kai Yiu Frank (Hong Kong)
Chinese Landscape paintings emphasize the combination of the environment and the painter himself. However, it comes as a dubious statement that people nowadays are still touched by the paintings and experience the feeling of the painter.

Tree(s)
Tang's work explores the relationship between Chinese painting and the painting process on video. In the work, Tree(s), Tang emulates motifs of trees from different painting manuals for traditional artists and captures how he, as a contemporary artist, to reconsider the motif of tree through life sketching. The work evokes viewers to ponder upon how traditional cultural has evolved, appropriated, and lose in contemporary contexts and what tradition could be in the mind of artist and viewers.
